The applicant must be present at the Embassy to sign the requested power of attorney after making an appointment.
To make an appointment, please send an email to Consular@lebanonembassy.nl with the required documents mentioned below.
Whenever our consular office receives all the above documents, we will prepare the power of attorney and contact you for an appointment (appointments are given on a first-come, first-served basis)
People aged 80 years and above are requested to bring a medical certificate attesting to their intellectual capacity.
It is possible to perform other notarial acts with our services (cancellation of mandate, withdrawal, notice, etc.). For those specific acts, get in contact our consular services by email at consular@lebanonembassy.
Required documents:
1- Identification document for the applicant and the recipient:
Lebanese identity card, or failing that, the individual civil registry record بيان قيد افرادي , or a valid Lebanese passport (original + copy)
Or for non-Lebanese Nationals, a valid ID or foreign passport (original + copy).
2- In addition, depending on the subject of a power of attorney:
In the event of a power of attorney for the sale of real estate: the original deed of ownership of the real estate- or a property registration certificate must be presented. – افادة عقارية أو سند ملكية
In the event of a power of attorney for a vehicle’s sale: a copy of the car registration record in Lebanon
In the event of power of attorney for marriage or divorce: the spouse’s Lebanese or foreign identification document
In the event of power of attorney signed on behalf of a company: A valid copy of the company’s statute or circular proving the identity of its legal representative.
In the event of a power of attorney related to a bank account: relevant information concerning the bank’s name, address, and details of the appropriate account number
In the case of establishing a power of attorney in the name of a third person: the original power of attorney legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by which the third person mandates the applicant to establish legal acts in his name.

Power of attorney on behalf of a company/ for commercial purposes: 198 €
